Our 2 yr aged parmesan is a delightful combination of sweet, savory and nutty flavors. Similar to the Italian Parmigiano Reggiano, many consider the natural golden brown exterior shell/rind to be the best part of our 2 yr parm. Besides grating the aged rind, the highly concentrated flavors make it ideal to add to simmering soups, risotto, beans, and pasta dishes for an extra kick of salty, cheesy flavor.
Wine Pairing: Pairs well with Chianti or Sauvignon Blanc.
