Are your cheeses Kosher certified?

Our cheeses are proudly OU Kosher Certified.

Are all of your cheeses vegetarian?

Yes, all of our cheeses are crafted with no added hormones, animal rennet, lipase, or lard.

Are your cheeses Lactose-Free?

Not all of our cheeses are lactose-free, however we do have a lactose-free selection. Check it out here: Lactose-Free Cheese Collection.

SHIPPING POLICY

Every package is shipped in an insulated Styrofoam cooler. If you are placing an order during the “warm” season, AND/OR the destination is in a “warmer” climate, we recommend that you select any of the available expedited shipping options (not UPS Ground). If you choose to proceed without expedited shipping to your order with the conditions above, The Cheese Guy can not be held liable for poor quality product arriving to you.

  • We are not responsible for non-delivery if any of the following instances occur:
  • -If we are provided an incomplete or incorrect address
  • -Missing building number, apartment number, or incorrect zipcode
  • -If we are provided a PO Box as an address (UPS does not ship to PO Boxes)
  • -If the package is refused
  • -If the package is marked as delivered but is reported missing
  • -If a package is returned to us due to any of the above reasons, the package can be reshipped with additional shipping charges. If a product needs to be replaced, the product will be charged at the original purchase price.
  • We are not responsible for weather or transport delays
  • -Once an order is placed, we rely on our fulfilment and shipping partners to successfully get the order to you.
  • If a package was damaged during transit:
  • -Please do not discard anything from the shipment
  • -Contact us and email pictures to info@thecheeseguy.com
  • -Picture of the damaged product
  • -Picture of the packaging
  • -Picture of the label
  • -We will use this information to file a claim with UPS. Reimbursements are not guaranteed.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we deliver our delicious cheese selections to all states within the continental US, and we're thrilled to announce that we're now also shipping to Canada!

How long will it take to receive my order?

To keep your cheese fresh, we aim to deliver orders within 2 business days after processing. Our shipping schedule depends on the service you choose:

  • Order Cutoff Time: 12 PM (EST) for same-day processing
  • Orders placed after the cutoff time will be processed on the next business day. (Monday - Friday, Except Holidays)

  • UPS Ground:
  • Ships Monday-Wednesday.

  • UPS 2nd Day Air:
  • Ships Monday-Wednesday. Thursday orders can be processed on the same day only if you select the UPS 2nd Day Air Saturday Delivery option at checkout.

  • UPS Next Day Air & Saver:
  • Ships Monday-Thursday.
What are your shipping options?

Our cheeses need to be refrigerated by you, within 2 days of the product being shipped, in order to maintain peak flavor and texture. That's why we offer a variety of expedited shipping options through UPS Ground® (for locations near the warehouse—Bay Shore, New York), UPS 2nd Day Air®, UPS Next Day Air®, and UPS Next Day Air Saver®.

The specific cost will depend on your chosen service and location, but you'll see the exact amount during checkout.

Can I have a replacement for a spoil item?

We understand cheese is meant to be enjoyed fresh and delicious. If our cheese didn't arrive in perfect condition, we're truly sorry for the inconvenience. Here's how we can make it right:

  • Please reach out to us within 14 days of receiving your order at info@thecheeseguy.com. 
  • Let us know your order number, and a description of the issue relating to spoiled product (e.g cheese arrived moldy). 
  • We’ll work with you to find the best solution.
What payment methods are accepted?

We accept major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and popular digital wallets: Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay,and Paypal.

Where can I find a cheese shop near me?

Our cheese shops are conveniently located nationwide. You can go ahead and check the available stores near you from our Store Locator or email us at info@thecheeseguy.com for more queries.

Can I change or cancel my order once it has been placed?

We prioritize your order's prompt processing and shipment because it's important to us.

If you need to make changes, please contact us as soon as possible via email at info@thecheeseguy.com or by calling 718-698-5154.

We'll do our best to intercept your order before shipment if it hasn't been processed yet. However, once your order is placed, we unfortunately cannot add, remove items, or make any other modifications.

For Processed Orders:

If your order has already been processed, unfortunately, we cannot accept returns due to the perishable nature of our cheese. However, we recommend checking your email for the order confirmation which may include substitution options in case an item becomes unavailable.
